Daily Telegraph / Embody 2-for-1 Health Offer - Terms and Conditions

Introduction

In its first year over 1,500 CThA/BThA/Embody members took part in The Daily Telegraph scheme and it proved very successful. This single promotion delivered over 27,000 bookings to Embody listed therapists over a four-month period; an average of 17 bookings per therapist.

This year the offer will run from the end of January until April and we hope that it will be even more successful than last year. You must offer a minimum of 5 sessions, Mon-Sun, to this promotion. A session is either Morning/Afternoon or Evening.

Offer

All participating therapists/beauticians must offer 2 treatments for the price of 1.

The free treatment will be provided to Telegraph readers provided that the second treatment they select be of the same or lesser value as the paid for treatment.

A reader may either:

- Pay for the first therapy and allow the free therapy to be used by a friend or family member

- Pay for the first therapy and take the free therapy themselves

In order to qualify for this exclusive offer, one Telegraph reader must provide you with 4 unique in paper tokens attached to a completed in paper form. On receipt of the completed voucher one person will pay for his/her treatment and then receive the same or a lesser value treatment for free. The 2-for-1 Health Offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer and is strictly subject to availability. Any additional products associated with the chosen therapy may be charged at standard prices.

Exclusivity

The ‘2-for-1 Health Offer’ with The Daily Telegraph, in association with Embody, must be the only promotion running between 27 Jan 2007 and 30 March 2007 you enter into which is in conjunction with a media partner (e.g. newspaper). It must be the best value-for-money offer available on the selected sessions.

Launch Date

The promotion is scheduled to launch in The Daily Telegraph on Saturday, January 27, 2007 (subject to change) and will run until Friday, March 30, 2007. The offer period will exclude any Bank Holidays and Valentine’s Day. The offer will apply to advance reservations only and readers must mention the 2-for-1 Health Offer at the time of booking their treatment/therapy in order to receive their free treatment/therapy. On arrival, readers must provide you with a completed in paper form giving full name and address details, with the 4 tokens attached as required. At the end of the promotion, March 30, collected forms should be returned to the address at the top of the letterhead.

In Paper Directory of Therapists/Beauticians

A full list of participating Embody Therapists/beauticians will appear in The Daily Telegraph as part of a separate guide on Saturday, January 27 (TBC). All therapists/beauticians must offer a minimum of 5 offer sessions per week for the 2-for-1 Health Offer. These 5 sessions may be made up of both day and evening sessions. NB these sessions can be across any day of the week or all if appropriate. Therapists/beauticians must do their utmost to fulfil the response to this promotion, as far as is practicable and honour this commitment throughout the duration of the promotion. However the promotion is strictly subject to availability.

Four tokens will allow a maximum of 2 people to take advantage of the offer i.e. one person paying the full amount for a treatment/therapy will receive either the same treatment or a lesser value treatment/therapy for free or the reader may pay for the first treatment/therapy and allow a friend to take advantage of the same or lesser valued treatment/therapy for free. The four tokens must be attached to a form cut from the newspaper and the reader who pays for the initial treatment/therapy must complete their name and address details.

Eligibility

The promotion is open to UK residents aged 18 years or over, excluding agents or anyone connected with this promotion.

Right to Refuse a Treatment

The therapist has a right to refuse to provide a treatment If in his/her opinion:

The client is abusive or makes unreasonable demands or is suggestive in terms of ‘other services’

Promotion Termination

The promoters reserve the right to terminate or change the promotion without notice. Standard Telegraph Group Terms and Conditions apply.

Number of Therapists/Beauticians Participating

Due to space constraints, The Daily Telegraph is only able to accept applications from 1,000 therapists/beauticians and a pre-set number by county. Priority for inclusion will be based on the date and time your registration payment is processed, on a first-come-first-served basis. If you register online, you will be warned if the Telegraph promotion is already full.

Spirit of the 2-for-1 Health Offer

All therapists/beauticians must enter into the spirit of the promotion in order to maintain positive feedback for The Daily Telegraph. Where we receive complaints from readers and the therapist is unable to provide a satisfactory explanation, then that therapist may be excluded from participating in future promotions with The Daily Telegraph.

NB: Once the promotion is launched, therapists/beauticians may not withdraw without prior written approval from The Daily Telegraph and then only under extenuating circumstances.
